The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía held next September auditions for the job market of the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana (OCV), the starting lineup of cultural enclave.

According to the rules of the call, published today by the 'Diari Official of the Generalitat Valenciana’ (DOGV), the process will regulate the bag governing the procurement in the OCV to cover temporary reinforcements, low and exceedances. The validity of the duration of the bag will be three seasons, thus extending to the lyrical course 2019-2020.

The process, whose information is also available on Les Arts' own website, www.lesarts.com, will select musicians for the following instruments: viola, fiddle, fagot, flute, trumpet and percussion.

Interested parties can submit their request until 31 of August, inclusive, through the web portal http://www.muv.ac/orquestra-de-la-comunitat-valenciana. Muv.ac is a website specialized in the management of this type of process that is currently used by more than 100 musical groups. Opera theaters such as the Staatsoper in Vienna and the Komische Oper in Berlin, in addition to formations such as the Gewandhaus Orchester in Leipzig, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra or the Tonhalle de Zurich are users of this portal.

The deadline for submitting applications has ended, the shortlist of candidates will be carried out based on curriculum and merits. The curricular assessment will be made based on the following parameters: musical formation, previous experience in professional orchestras, awards obtained and other merits. Each applicant will receive through the email specified in the registration itself, a notification regarding your admission or not, from the muv.ac platform.

Les Arts will host the different tests during the second half of September, that will start the day 15 with the selection for viola, to be followed by flute auditions (16), fagot (17), trumpet (18), percussion (22) and violin (30).

The auditions will be public until the capacity of the room in which they are held is complete..
