He Teatro Real and the Royal Palace continue their collaboration for the development and promotion of cultural activities, with live broadcast and free, through stage Digital The Royal Theatre, the concert by Cuarteto Latinoamericano in the Hall of Columns Palace morning, Tuesday 28 of May, to 19.30 hours, and in which the performers use the Stradivarius from the Royal Collection.
This initiative is part of the agreement between the Royal Theater and National Heritage in April 2016, which facilitates and encourages the implementation of joint cultural activities to make both institutions more accessible and close two public places.
The concert is part of XXXV Chamber Music Cycle organized by National Heritage and commemorating the V Centenary of the beginning of the expedition Magallanes-Elcano. With Stradivarius in your hands, Cuarteto Latinoamericano will perform the world premiere of the score of the Spanish composer Tomás Marco: Quartet No. 7 Prime me?, work commissioned by National Heritage.
In addition to this release, The program will include the Quartet No. 6, Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, and the Quartet No. 1 in G major, the alicantino Ruperto Chapí.
Founded in Mexico in 1982, Cuarteto Latinoamericano is one of the most important musical groups in Latin America with a significant international presence that has earned them Latin Grammy twice: in 2012, for his album Brazilian, works of Francisco Mignone, and in 2016 by The Invisible Thread.
