After his recent successes in Vienna and Berlin opera starring Roberto Devereux, from Donizetti, next to the legendary Edita Gruberová, the Spanish tenor Celso Albelo will completely change scope by getting into the skin of the protagonist of the zarzuela Luisa Fernanda, title that will be offered in December at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia of Valencia in the production that Emilio Sagi devised for the Royal Theater of Madrid. In this reunion with the castizo genre, Albelo will coincide on stage with the immense Placido Domingo, who will sing the baritone part of the zarzuela de Federico Moreno Torroba, just as he did at the premiere of the montage. The popular Spanish musical theater piece will be offered on 15, 18 Y 22 December under the musical direction of Jordi Bernàcer.
Having joined Luisa Fernanda's rehearsals in Valencia, Celso Albelo will take a break to travel to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and perform, he 24 of November, as a guest in the homage that the city will pay to its favorite son, the tenor Alfredo Kraus, from whom in 2014 are fulfilled 15 years after his death. Accompanied on piano by Juan Francisco Parra, Celso Albelo will return to the stage of the Perez Galdos Theater of the capital of Gran Canaria in an evening full of emotions in which he will perform a song, zarzuela and opera.
