Ferrol on the Way, a new International Classical Music Festival is born in Galicia

The city of Ferrol will celebrate its I International Festival “Ferrol on the Way”, which will include 9 piano and chamber music concerts, with renowned national and international interpreters, and it will take place of the 15 al 30 of September.

They will 5 piano concerts and 4 chamber music. Between 5 the pianists who will perform is one of the most prestigious Argentine pianists, Daniel rivera, that the festival will open on the day 15 of September, the prestigious world famous Cypriot pianist Cyprien Katsaris, what the day will act 22. further, will act 3 of the most international Spanish pianists: Pablo Galdo (day 19), Juan Perez Floristán (day 26), Y Josu de Solaun (day 30)

The Ferrol no Camiño program is completed with a concert by the prestigious Spanish cellist Asier Polo, Accompanied by Daniel del Pino (day 16), the renowned soprano Raquel Lojendio, with Aurelio Viribay (day 24), the Hungarian flute player Dominika Carpenter, with János Palojtay (day 27), and the prestigious Spanish violinist Aitzol Iturriagagoitia, Accompanied by Jose Enrique Bagaría (day 28)

The festival is organized by the Galician Classical Music Association, in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia and the City Council of Ferrol, and is framed within the acts of the Xacobeo Year 2021. The concerts will take place at the city's emblematic Jofre Theater, all the 20.00, and they will be free entry.

The city of Ferrol and the Camino Inglés share being historically ostracized. This peculiarity serves as a reference for this Festival of international relevance, since we believe that it is necessary to revitalize both the city of Ferrol and the English Way, thanks to the celebration of several concerts with great national and international interpreters in order to achieve the visibility that El Ferrol deserves.
