
The Palace of Arts reopens its doors to the public from Friday, 12 of June, with a series of concerts and recitals in the Main Room, adapting to new general security measures, prevention and hygiene.
The Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana (OCV), the singers and pianists of the Training Center and the Cor de la Generalitat offer a total of eleven evening sessions that will begin next Friday, 12 of June, with an OCV concert reserved exclusively for the healthcare community, in recognition of the work done during the coronavirus crisis.
From the day 13 of June, Les Arts opens this cycle for all audiences to be held at 20.00 hours every Thursday, friday and saturday until next 11 of July. The concerts, with towns with a single price of 5 euros, are one hour long, without a rest, and they will be marketed with a numbered seat to guarantee distance protocols and a capacity always adjusted to current regulations.
For the purchase of tickets, following the recommendations of the health authorities, Les Arts will prioritize telematic sales, which will be launched from the second week of June on the theater's website (https://www.lesarts.com).
With the purpose of promoting a greater diversity of publics, three dedicated weekly sessions have been established, each of them, to a collective. Thus, Thursday concerts will have a priority sale for Les Arts subscribers, while Fridays will be reserved exclusively for minors 29 years. Saturday shows will be for the general public.
Adapted artistic activities
In order to satisfy security requirements, the artistic direction has designed a selection of music programs, adjusted to the current situation, for small musical formations.
Both the Orchestra of the Valencian Community, in chamber grouping, as the Choir of the Generalitat, with a reduced workforce, they will maintain at all times the requirements of distance on stage.
The planned repertoire for these concerts includes, among other programs, one for string instruments, with Mozart pages, Dvořák, Barber y Chaikovski, as well as an evening dedicated exclusively to the wind section, with works by Donizetti, Gounod y Beethoven.
Meanwhile, the singers of the Center of Perfection, accompanied by pianists José Miguel Román, y Stanislav Angelov, They will perform different programs with arias and romances of opera and zarzuela in their respective sessions.
