The emerging soprano Lise Davidsen opens this Sunday, 25 October, to 18.00 hours, the second edition of the cycle 'The Arts is Lied' in the Main Hall of Palau de Les Arts. Recognized by American critics as 'one voice in a million', Lise Davidsen arrives at Les Arts as one of the new sensations of the dramatic repertoire: her record and artistic talent have been compared to that of the great Nordic divas of the genre such as Birgit Nilsson or Kirsten Flagstad.
James Baillieu accompanies her on the piano in a recital in which the Scandinavian soprano will perform 'Lieder' by Johannes Brahms, Robert Schumann, Edvard Grieg and Richard Strauss. ‘Les Arts és Lied’ will bring together some of the most outstanding interpreters of this musical form in Valencia during the Season 2020-2021.
