La Finta Giardiniera

The Finta Giardiniera has always been one of the young man's least known operas Mozart, maybe because the original Munich version, sung in italian, disappeared from the repertoire until it was rewritten in German from 1779. A posthumous version of 1796 presents a new re-orchestration, extremely symphonic and typical of the last works of the genius from Salzburg, which has made many experts think that he reorchestrated it himself. This version, called “Námëst” has recorded it René Jacobs, who has seen in this lively opera "a very old form of theater full of great passions and elements of a modern initiatory work". a great find.
